SCONE of Rochester.
Scone is a 90x22 ft historic wooden vessel. She was built of pine on oak at Rochester in 1919.

Scone was comprehensively refitted out for residential use after her salvage from the Isle of Dogs in January 2001.
More recently her condition has deteriorated and her future in unclear.

There is a recently published book (now in 2nd edition) called "Coasting Sailorman" by Albert Bagshaw and Richard Walsh.
This book tells the story of Captain "Harry" Bagshaw who was skipper of "Scone" for more that twenty years.
